I have been playing trumpet since 1997 in a variety of styles and genres. Throughout high school, I performed in district honor bands, Georgia All-State Band, and All-State Jazz Band. I went on to pursue a BM in Trumpet Performance at CU-Boulder studying under Prof. Terry Sawchuk. While at CU, I played in the Wind Symphony with Prof. Allan McMurray, as well as the Concert, Symphonic, and Marching bands with Dr. Matt Roeder. In addition to playing in several brass quintets, I also participated in multiple trumpet ensembles for Rocky Mountain Trumpet Fest. Under the baton of Nicholas Carthy, I performed in the pit orchestra for CU Opera Program's productions of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges.

       Artists with whom I've collaborated:

Right now I play with the Colorado Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Matt Roeder. I also play regularly at church services, including at Holy Cross Trinity Lutheran Church, First Baptist Church of Boulder, and Broomfield United Methodist Church.
