I am an active music arranger for high schools and colleges, as well as other various ensembles.
As an instrumentalist, I have played trumpet for 13 years and piano for 8 years, as well as having a working knowledge of many other instruments.
I've been composing in a variety of styles and genres since 2002, and in 2007 I received the University of Colorado at Boulder Undergraduate Composition Commission.
I am currently the Sound Engineer for the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps for my second year. Before joining the staff at SCV, I was a marching member
and soloist for two years (2007-2008). I also teach private trumpet lessons, am in the process of assembling material for a trumpet pedagogy book, and tutor in music theory.
I was born in Roswell, GA and attended Wheeler HS in Marietta.
Although a musician by night, by day I am a bartender in Aurora, CO. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, reading, and snowboarding.
